Electrical Equipment Company is a strong regional electrical wholesaler who is capable of providing superior products and services to your facilities. We can become your single source electrical supplier for:
Electrical Equipment Company's Vendor Managed Inventory program has been a success with every customer who has chosen to implement it.
The maintenance personnel have access to the stores area; EECO visits the area on a schedule that is set to meet the demand of the area. We maintain a no stock out rating in all our managed areas. The bins are checked, a replenishment order is placed and the stock is delivered and put away.
Most customers choose to check the replenishment PO before the order is placed to maintain a checks and balances.
Electrical Equipment Company’s Motor Management Program manages the motors on your site from “cradle to grave”. The four-step process includes:
-
Preparation Work- EECO inventories the motors in stores and in production to make sure the proper motors are in place to support failures.
-
Ongoing Motor Stores Management- Motor stores are checked periodically and recommendations are made for replenishment.
-
Motor Repair Work- When a motor fails, EECO will assess the motor and make a recommendation for repair or replacement. The motor can be repaired in our shop.
-
New Motors- Should the motor need to be replaced, a new motor will be provided at pre-arranged pricing levels.
-
Predictive Maintenance – Motors are evaluated for recommended service and parts replacement at times when you can afford downtime.
By having EECO manage your motors, we can track multiple failures and make recommendations for application improvements.
Too often we spend time controlling stock that costs pennies to buy.
When you consider the process and associated costs of purchasing, counting, receiving and issuing product, there are products for which it makes sense to control and those for which the process costs more than the product.
Wire nuts, connectors, and wire ties are all products that fit into this category and are excellent candidates for free issue areas.
Free issue areas are often out on the plant floor. The product is in open bins for maintenance to use as needed. The bins are monitored but never counted. When they appear to be low on stock, an economic order quantity is added.
JIT Inventory Programs allow you to shelve only the amount of stock that will be consumed in a 24 to 48 hour period.
A JIT program offers you the benefit of eliminating the expense of holding excess stock on your books. Items in your stock do not become obsolete, and the physical space dedicated to MRO stores is reduced.
Consolidated invoicing provides savings to your accounts payable department. Often, companies process multiple invoices from each MRO vendor each week.
Electrical Equipment Company can provide weekly or monthly-consolidated invoices. Accounts payable only handles invoices from EECO once, cutting one check, and cutting the cost to do business with us.
EdgePC is an inexpensive, easy to use storeroom management system.
It contains the following functionality:
This program is appropriate for storerooms with 50–10,000 SKU’s that are still maintained manually.
Pressures to reduce cost may have you looking at getting out of the MRO storeroom business.
Electrical Equipment Company will provide the personnel to manage your inventory on site. We will partner with your other MRO suppliers to continue to provide superior products and service, while reducing the overhead associated with a spare parts storeroom.
The technical support you currently receive from your suppliers is important to you; we will not threaten that relationship. That’s what sets us apart from other companies in the storeroom business.
In a large manufacturing facility, or in a cell-manufacturing environment, having the product for a job kitted and delivered to the job area drives efficiencies into the maintenance staff’s performance.
You will no longer be paying your maintenance staff to walk across the facility to the stores window to pick up MRO supplies. The supplies will be brought to them. Maintenance stays on the job site-efficiently doing the job required!
Electrical Equipment Company's menu of storeroom services are designed to relieve the stress placed on employees who are absorbing the responsibilities of multiple job descriptions.
Each service can be implemented separately to provide cost savings to your facility, or multiple services can be combined to provide the optimal cost savings for your corporate culture.
Electrical Equipment Company has been successful at showing customers the efficiency of a clean, well-organized MRO stores area. All items are easy to find and placed in bins that are best suited for the type of product and environmental conditions.
Maintenance personnel find what they need quickly, and are on their way to perform their primary function, plant maintenance!
With a little input from your facility, EECO will maintain the stock you need and can place it close to where you need it most. Making the acquisition of MRO product fast, easy, and cost effective.
The first step in streamlining your procurement process, is understanding the current process. The attached questionnaire collects pertinent data to begin mapping the process “from need recognition to need fulfillment”. There are often many steps through this process that put excess cost into procurement of MRO goods.
We understand the cost drivers in this process and can help eliminate waste.
